Guests at ATOMA can enjoy exhilarating night scenes with the Milky Way in the sky. Depending on the season, you can see a wide variety of celestial bodies. You can experience stargazing during all four seasons. The observatory is also accessible to wheelchair users.

Youth Guesthouse ATOMA
Environment and Location
Youth Guesthouse ATOMA sits high on a hill that provides a superb location for viewing the sunrise, night views, and occasionally, even a sea of clouds. The area is surrounded by peaceful orchards, and in the springtime, sakura (Japanese cherry), peach, pear, apple, and cherry trees are in bloom. Visitors can hear birds chirping and frogs croaking, while Japanese rhinoceros beetles, stag beetles, and Japanese freshwater crabs also inhabit the area.

ATOMA is also specialized for winter.
In the living room, visitors can relax in comfort thanks to underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. In addition, you conveniently can enjoy outdoor activities including playing in the snow, taking skiing lessons, and snowshoeing.

ATOMA is surrounded by a peaceful orchard area. From spring to summer,visitors can enjoy picking fruits such as cherries, peaches, apples, pears, and other fruits.
